Heather Burchill

Heather is an associate lawyer practicing civil litigation and employment law.

Prior to attending law school, Heather worked as an officer with the Maritime Command Headquarters. While there, she designed and delivered national training programs in the areas of human rights, dispute resolution and environmental protection. Not surprisingly, Heather's practice focuses on labour and employment, human rights, and professional regulation.

Heather's experience with human rights, dispute resolution, and professional discipline compliments our firm's well-established employment and labour practice.

"THE LIFE OF STATES CANNOT, ANY MORE THAN THE LIFE OF INDIVIDUALS, BE CONDITIONED BY THE FORCE AND THE WILL OF A UNIT, HOWEVER POWERFUL, BUT BY THE CONSENSUS OF A GROUP, WHICH MUST ONE DAY INCLUDE ALL STATES."

- Lester B. Pearson
