An accomplished civil litigator, Darlene Jamieson has been producing consistent results since establishing her practice in 1989. She has represented a wide range of clients-from insurers, banks and trust companies to injured and aggrieved individuals. Darlene has appeared at all levels of Court, Administrative Tribunals and has been appointed chair of several Boards of Inquiry under the NS Human Rights Act. She is a staunch proponent of practical resolutions - seeking alternatives to costly litigation.
Darlene's work extends to the community, where she is extensively involved in women's advocacy. She is also a Commissioner of the Nova Scotia Law Reform Commission, and a member of various local and national boards.
