William Mahody

William is an experienced litigator providing legal counsel for a myriad of dispute resolution matters, including insurance, commercial and employment law. He has appeared before a number of boards and tribunals as well as the Nova Scotia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.

In recent years, a significant component of William's practice has involved private mediation and arbitration. By utilizing these dispute resolution processes, he has been successful in producing timely and cost effective results for clients. William has successfully completed in-depth courses directed by the Conflict Management Group of Cambridge, Massachusetts, which is based on the Harvard Negotiation Project Model. This training fosters fundamental negotiation skills allowing participants to more effectively manage complex issues and problems.

William has represented a wide range of commercial clients, including many high-growth businesses active in Nova Scotia and throughout the Atlantic Provinces.
